Description

Using azide-containing hypervalent iodine reagents, this project develops a chemoproteomic platform called Protein Surface Azidation Mass Spectrometry (ProSurA-MS) to detect conformational changes on protein surfaces, map protein dynamics, and study protein-protein interactions in live cells. The project aims to characterize conformational changes induced by post-translational modifications and metal binding, understand the chemical mechanisms behind ProSurA, develop improved reagents, and establish methods for identifying protein-protein interactions in live cells.
