Description

The goal of this targeted planning project is to establish a new paradigm for functional connectomics by combining ultra-fast two-photon voltage imaging with two-photon optogenetic stimulation to measure and track synaptic weights in the rodent brain in vivo. The system will enable measurement of monosynaptic connectivity and its functional impact on spiking in the same neurons over time, designed as a general-purpose platform for measuring functional connectomes throughout the brain.
