Description
The Bioanalytical, Cardiometabolic Phenotyping, Imaging and Histology Core B provides access to technologies and services that would otherwise not be available in Mississippi. The core offers centralized radioimmunoassay (RIA), ELISA, chemistry analyses, in vivo phenotypical testing, and advanced imaging and histology services. Staffed by professional personnel, the core supports research training and development, facilitating over 88 investigators from multiple departments and institutions. It has contributed to over 260 publications and 135 extramural grants, establishing a sustainable fee-for-service model.
