Description

The proposed research examines how stress and rushing can influence how older adults remember important information, how older adults can selectively forget outdated information related to gains and losses, and how older adults may be susceptible to scams and financial fraud that focus on gains and rewards. The research aims to help older adults selectively remember important information, learn how to selectively forget outdated information regarding gains and losses, and help identify features of scams to reduce susceptibility to financial victimization.
