NIH-funded project to study neurabin protein interactions across cell types using transgenic models to understand disease mechanisms and aid drug development.

Description

This project aims to leverage and develop novel tools to identify and compare the interactomes of spinophilin and neurabin proteins across different cell types. The study will utilize transgenic animals with tissue and cell type-specific tagging capabilities to elucidate the roles of these proteins in disease-related adaptive changes, with the goal of advancing targeted drug development for disorders such as neurological diseases, cancers, immune dysfunction, obesity, and diabetes.
