Research project to study the role of regulatory T cell derived Mmp12 in resolving lung injury, comparing effects in mice with and without Mmp12 in Tregs.
Description
This project aims to understand the role of Treg-derived Mmp12 in lung injury resolution, focusing on its function in inflammation resolution during ALI induced by LPS or influenza. The study will compare parameters in mice with Tregs lacking Mmp12 to those with wild-type Tregs, and identify substrates of extracellular Treg-derived Mmp12 using N-TAIL proteomics.
