This project aims to develop and validate MASTER (Multifunctional Alginate Scaffolds for T cell Engineering and Release), a novel technology that mediates every step of CAR cell production, reducing processing time, costs, and improving cell persistence and efficacy. The project seeks to develop a material-based technology to improve CAR-T cell efficacy and reduce manufacturing time from 2-4 weeks to a single day, making CAR therapy more accessible and affordable.
