REPLACES PO - M116237 Item 1: Install two temporary pilings & stringers for metal gangway during demo/construction of damaged wood on walkway. Temporary supports to be removed after repair shave been completed. Item 2: Demo and dispose of 5'x18' end of the walkway. Disposing of handrails, stringers, caps and decking. Leaving pilings in place. Item 3: Use existing pilings, re-frame walkway using 2"X12" caps and 2"X8" stringers. Item 4: Move gangway back approx 12" - 16" so weight of gangway will be over the structural support of the pilings when reattached to stationary walkway. Item 5: Construct new walkway with #1 grade pressure treated lumber with all fasteners being galvanized steel. All screws will be stainless steal. New walkway will be approx 4' X 18'. Handrail will be new and will match handrail of rest of walkway.
