Description
This project aims to define the current epidemiology of meningitis in Africa, validate novel diagnostic tests, and conduct a proof-of-concept trial for a new antifungal drug to treat fungal meningitis. The study focuses on HIV/AIDS-related meningitis, particularly cryptococcal meningitis and TB meningitis, in Uganda.
