Description

The project aims to develop a home-based, computer-based motor imagery protocol (MI-TEE) to supplement speech therapy for individuals with post-stroke apraxia of speech (AOS). The intervention seeks to improve speech production, increase accessibility to treatment, and reduce costs associated with traditional speech therapy. The study will evaluate the acceptability, feasibility, and efficacy of MI-TEE as an adjunct to standard speech therapy using single-subject experimental designs with multiple baselines across 18 participants.
