Description
This project investigates the mechanisms by which progenitor-exhausted T cells (Tpex) responses to immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) are restricted in metastatic lymph nodes (metLN) in a clinically relevant mouse model of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). The goal is to reveal strategies to reinvigorate this critical pool of CD8 T cells in patients with advanced-stage disease.
