Development of an innovative MRI technique to improve coronary artery disease detection in atrial fibrillation patients by providing whole-heart coverage without ECG gating, validated against PET and invasive measures.
Description
This project aims to develop a flow and motion insensitive steady-state (FAMISS) ungated quantitative myocardial perfusion MRI method. The goal is to improve detection of coronary artery disease in atrial fibrillation patients by enabling whole-heart coverage without relying on ECG gating, and to validate this method against PET imaging and invasive fractional flow measures.
