Subgrade preparation and base rock installation at Dorothy Kirby site for Los Angeles County Internal Services Department

The Los Angeles County Internal Services Department, a county agency of California, awarded a purchase order (PO-IS-26007794) to CENTURY PAVING INC for comprehensive site preparation and foundation work at the Dorothy Kirby location (1500 S. -SCARIFY AND OPEN UP BAD SOFT SUBGRADE. -REMOVE AND HAUL AWAY APPROX. 1,000 S/F OF WET DIRT TO A DEPTH OF 2' IN 2 LOCATIONS. -GRADE AND COMPACT EXISTING SUBGRADE TO MAX COMPACTION AVAILABLE. -FURNISH AND INSTALL 2' OF NEW BASE ROCK TO 1,000 S/F IN 2 LOCATIONS, 1 MOVE. -MIX, BLEND AND CEMENT TREAT EXISTING SOFT SUBGRADE WITH 5% CONCRETE ADDED TO TOP 12" OVER 14,000 S/F. -WATER, GRADE AND COMPACT EXISTING CEMENT TREATED MATERIAL BEFORE IT HARDENS. -WATER FOR 2-3 DAYS AFTER FOR PROPER CURING PERIOD.
