Description
This project aims to identify multisystem phenotypic profiles of resilience that predict postsurgical recovery trajectories in pain impact and physical function among adults undergoing knee and hip arthroplasty. It addresses the issue of chronic postsurgical pain (CPSP) following total joint arthroplasty (TJA), which affects a significant number of patients. The research objectives include exploring mechanisms associated with treatment response, characterizing associations between resilience profiles and recovery trajectories, and assessing 300 patients over 9 months across multiple domains.
