Description
This project aims to investigate the role of Perilipin 5 (PLIN5) in regulating adipose tissue function, focusing on its potential to treat obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease by promoting PLIN5 expression in brown adipose tissue combined with b3 adrenergic receptor agonist treatment to reverse adipocyte hypertrophy, obesity, and glucose intolerance in diet-induced obese mice.
