A clinical trial and preclinical studies to evaluate the combination of ADI-PEG20 with chemotherapy for aggressive variant prostate cancers, aiming to improve treatment outcomes by targeting arginine metabolism and tumor immune environment.

Description

This project proposes a tissue-rich clinical trial and co-clinical studies in mice, combining ADI-PEG20 (which depletes serum arginine levels) with carboplatin+cabazitaxel to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and effects on intratumoral metabolites, signaling pathways, and immune profiles of the AVPC tumor microenvironment. The goal is to inform further rational combinations for the treatment of AVPC.
