Description
This project aims to develop and validate novel remote acquisition and AI grading methods for ophthalmic images to improve diagnosis and support global elimination efforts of trachoma, a leading infectious cause of vision loss and irreversible blindness in poor regions. The project includes developing a smartphone app for standardized imaging, improving AI model performance, creating machine learning models to detect trachoma signs, and deploying these models offline on Android devices.
