Description
This project aims to investigate the regulation of atrial contractility in the heart, focusing on the roles of specific proteins such as myosin binding protein H-like (MyBP-HL) and cardiac myosin binding protein-C (cMyBP-C). The research will explore how mutations in these proteins affect their stoichiometry and contribute to atrial myopathy and overall cardiac dysfunction. The study will utilize human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes and engineered heart tissue models.
