A pilot study to evaluate the integration of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction into early psychosis care programs to address stress sensitivity, using a novel trial design and implementation evaluation.

Description

This project aims to evaluate the clinical efficacy and implementation process of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) within Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) programs for early psychosis. The pilot study will use a hybrid stepped-wedge trial design across six CSC programs, with the goal of gathering data to justify a future confirmatory study. The focus is on addressing stress sensitivity, a contributor to poor outcomes in early psychosis.
