Description
This project aims to develop high-throughput discovery methods for natural products with activity against ESKAPE pathogens that are not toxic to healthy human cell lines. It leverages genome mining and mass spectrometry data analysis to predict and discover novel fungal natural products, including antibiotics, antifungals, anticancer agents, immunosuppressants, and cholesterol-lowering drugs. The project will provide software as a cloud service and is funded by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS).
