Description
The project aims to assess the relationship between heart function (using noninvasive cardiac magnetic resonance imaging during exercise) and exercise capacity in hematopoietic cell transplant patients before and after transplant. It will train an early-stage investigator to become an independent clinical researcher in cardio-oncology, focusing on understanding exercise intolerance and developing targeted treatments to improve outcomes.
