Award to Research Triangle Institute for coordinating the Down Syndrome Clinical Cohort as part of the INCLUDE Project, focusing on data collection, biospecimen management, and community engagement to support research on Down syndrome.
Description
The NIH is seeking proposals for the Down Syndrome Clinical Cohort Coordinating Center (DS-4C) to support the INCLUDE Project’s DS Cohort Development Program (DS-CDP). The center will serve as the central hub for orchestrating and integrating components of the DS-CDP, including protocol development, data collection, biospecimen management, and community engagement. The goal is to generate deep phenotyping data and biospecimens from a large cohort of individuals with Down syndrome across the lifespan to facilitate research on co-occurring conditions.
