Description
This project will explore a key pathway that controls LDL receptor recycling in the cells, whereby internalized LDLR receptors can be recycled back to the plasma membrane. This pathway, mediated by the Retriever complex, will be examined in great detail including molecular mechanisms and physiologic impact in animal models.
