The project aims to identify allo-ligands recognized by CD8+ T cells in acute cellular rejection (ACR) by exploring the cross-reactivity between viral-specific TCRs and alloantigens, using novel immunoinformatics approaches to improve prediction, monitoring, and treatment of transplant rejection.
Description
This project will study the immunological underpinnings and origins of alloreactivity and acute cellular rejection of transplanted tissues. Success here will help advance our understanding of rejection and set the stage for advances in treatment and prevention.
