Description
The Health Research (HR) Core of the Center for Clinical & Translational Research at the University of South Carolina (CLINTRUSC) serves as the hub for the Pilot and Developmental (P&D) Project Program. It supports growth of clinical research workforce and advances clinical and translational research in the Midlands of South Carolina. The HR Core oversees P&D projects from solicitation to dissemination, led by senior investigators and supported by a project manager and compliance manager. The goal is to establish a robust translational science program focusing on diseases affecting the Midlands population, encouraging collaboration, providing pilot funding, and developing oversight procedures. The HR Core works closely with other cores to ensure support and infrastructure for successful project completion.
