Description
Integration of evidence-based practices into healthcare systems (HCS) to improve the care of people living with dementia (PLWD) and their care partners (CPs) is critically needed. Few interventions have moved from efficacy trials to widespread practice. The program supports designing and conducting embedded pragmatic clinical trials (ePCTs) within HCS, anchored in real-world data platforms and setting-specific HCS Launchpads. Research grants will support feasibility projects to assess critical factors for full-scale ePCTs, demonstration projects to evaluate intervention effects on clinical outcomes, and project planning grants to facilitate investigator and HCS collaboration from inception. The program aims to enhance investigator capacity, generate research knowledge, and improve care for PLWD and CPs.
