Description
This project involves behavioral dissection of contributions of exercise versus balance in a mouse model of mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) relevant to PTSD in Veterans. It includes use of immunohistochemistry, protein quantification, single-cell RNA sequencing, and chemogenetic circuit approaches to study cerebellar circuits and microglia. The project aims to develop novel, precision therapeutics for TBI and neurodegenerative diseases.
