Description

This project studies the role of a dual function Type VI Secretion System (T6SS) immunity protein in regulating Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilm formation and microbial diversity in the airway microbiota, particularly in the context of cystic fibrosis. The research aims to understand how TsiT protein mediates biofilm formation, confers protection against TseT intoxication, and modulates P. aeruginosa fitness during biofilm growth in a cystic fibrosis respiratory microbiota model.
