This project aims to develop a novel scaffold-based platform (MASTER) for in vivo CAR T cell manufacturing to treat glioblastoma, potentially reducing costs and treatment delays. The approach uses a multifunctional alginate scaffold implanted in the surgical cavity to generate and release CAR T cells in vivo, improving efficacy and persistence while lowering manufacturing time and costs.
