Description
This project aims to develop preclinical models based on baboons, which naturally exhibit highly heritable generalized epilepsy, to better understand the genetic and transcriptomic architecture of epilepsy. The study will identify risk variants, analyze gene and miRNA expression, and develop cerebral organoids to model epilepsy mechanisms and test potential therapies.
