Research project funded by the National Institute on Aging to study how sex and APOE genotype interact to influence Alzheimer's disease risk using hiPSC models.
Description
This proposal seeks to use human-induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC)-based models to elucidate the relationship between APOE isoforms, biological sex, and AD risk. This research will significantly advance our understanding of the complex genetic interactions that modulate AD onset and age-related progression.
