A project funded by the National Cancer Institute to develop and evaluate a mobile app to support HPV-tested women, aiming to improve knowledge, reduce psychosocial impacts, and increase follow-up retention.

Description

This project aims to develop and evaluate a mobile app intervention targeted at HPV-tested women to increase knowledge about HPV and cervical cancer prevention, reduce the psycho-social impact of HPV positivity, and increase retention to follow-up. The study will use a mixed-methods design, including a quantitative women study and qualitative interviews with health providers, to assess acceptability, appropriateness, adoption, and preliminary effectiveness of the intervention.
