Description
A longitudinal cohort study building on the CIFASD initiative in Ukraine to investigate the prevalence and co-occurrence of comorbidities among children and adolescents with prenatal alcohol exposure (PAE). The study aims to compare 180 children/adolescents with PAE to 120 with minimal or no PAE, assessing clinical signs, metabolic and chronic diseases, and experimental measures such as telomere length, microvasculature, and miRNA expression. The goal is to inform clinical guidance and future interventions to prevent or mitigate disease progression.
