The project will follow 224 Veterans newly referred for psychotherapy in VISNs 16 and 17 to compare care quality in community settings and the VHA, with findings intended to inform policy, administration, and care choices.
Description
Prospective cohort study comparing the quality of psychotherapy delivered through community care and Veterans Health Administration care for Veterans with PTSD, depression, or anxiety. The study will assess timeliness, effectiveness, patient-centeredness, safety, equity, and cost.
