Description

A. Executive Producer & Talent Management (programming plan, sourcing/booking all 108 concerts, DJ openers, technical rider review, talent asset handoff) for 108 concerts. -Develop a comprehensive programming plan for all 27 sites (108 total slots), organized by theme, genre, and community demographics; submit to DPR for approval prior to booking. -Curate "Book a Community" lineups for Mega Concerts, featuring multiple artists to create a festival-like experience, or program 1-2 artists for Traditional Concerts. -Manage all artist outreach, confirm availability, and conduct preliminary fee negotiations; no artist will be finalized without DPR approval. -Source and secure DJ openers for Mega Concerts. Review technical riders for all artists against DPR's SL-1000 and standard sound system specifications; identify gaps and recommend solutions. -Compile and deliver complete talent assets for DPR, including contact information, bios, photos, social media handles, technical riders, stage plots, W-9 forms, and signatory details. Branding, Design & Marketing (series naming, logo, brand guide, flyer templates, social media templates, web page/microsite) -Develop a complete brand system, including the series name, primary/alternate/icon logos, color palette, typography, and a comprehensive brand guide. -Create editable flyer templates for both Mega and Traditional Concerts, allowing customization for each event. -Design individualized promotional tiles for all performers, along with collective lineup graphics. Produce a full suite of social media templates, including posts, stories, and event graphics for Instagram and Facebook. -Develop a series-wide promotional asset package, including announcement graphics, countdown visuals, and shareable community content. Provide a signage checklist to guide planning and placement (production and installation to be handled by DPR). -Design and develop a webpage or microsite featuring the full series branding, concert schedule, park locations, and artist spotlights. -Produce and edit a promotional video to support the series. PREPAYMENT IS AUTHORIZED; C. Social Media Management & Promotions (content calendar, full management or strategy package, paid ad management ad spend separate) Option 2 - Content Strategy Package (if DPR manages channels): -Create a comprehensive content calendar covering all series dates, with platform-specific posts aligned to confirmed bookings. -Deliver campaign strategy, messaging framework, ad strategy recommendations, and branded templates for DPR to execute independently. PREPAYMENT IS AUTHORIZED; Public Relations includes: -Develop and distribute press releases, including a series launch announcement and ongoing updates highlighting shows and artists throughout the summer. -Conduct local TV outreach to stations such as KTLA, KNBC, KABC, and KCAL to secure coverage, artist features, and community event segments. -Lead radio outreach across Los Angeles stations to generate on-air mentions, artist interviews, and promotional partnerships. -Engage digital and print media outlets, including the Los Angeles Times, LAist, LA Scene channels, and local community newspapers. -Coordinate outreach with community organizations, including neighborhood partners and nonprofits near each park location. -Provide ongoing media relations support by managing press inquiries and coordinating interview requests throughout the series. PREPAYMENT IS AUTHORIZED; Youth Training- Developed a learning-based internship and environmental education program built around modular instruction and an 'each one teach one' ethos, with creativity at the core of its production approach. The program emphasizes hands-on learning and is designed to integrate directly with LA County Parks existing educational experiences. This youth training initiative reflects a strong alignment between partner organizations, both of which are committed to creating meaningful opportunities for young creatives within their communities.
