This study aims to address gaps in understanding tuberculosis (TB) transmission by characterizing spatial mobility of TB patients and combining this with bacterial whole genome sequencing data to explore the relationship between spatial mobility and recent transmission, identify TB transmission hotspots, and provide insights into local transmission mechanisms to guide targeted case-finding strategies.
