NIH funded project to study D-2-hydroxyglutarate as a biomarker for monitoring IDH-mutant glioma, involving feasibility, discovery, and validation phases to improve disease monitoring and therapy response assessment.

Description

This project aims to evaluate D-2-hydroxyglutarate (D2-HG) in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) as a biomarker for monitoring IDH-mutant glioma. The study involves phased, milestone-driven feasibility, discovery, and validation analyses to determine the performance characteristics of CSF D2-HG, establish diagnostic thresholds, and validate its responsiveness to therapy and disease progression.
