This NIH-funded project develops novel single-cell genomic methods to study neurogenesis dynamics in aging and Alzheimer's disease, aiming to identify therapeutic targets.

Description

The proposed research focuses on developing state-of-the-art single-cell genomic approaches to understand cellular dynamics in neurogenesis, particularly in aging and Alzheimer's disease. The project aims to develop high-throughput, low-cost single-cell genomics techniques, sciNext1000 and sci-Div-, to profile millions of cells from human and mouse brains, identify transcriptomic features associated with impaired neurogenesis, and explore environmental influences via spatial transcriptomics.
