RESERVOIR NO. 6 WTP FILTER UNDERDRAIN REPLACEMENT

The Metropolitan District is soliciting sealed bids for the Reservoir No. 6 WTP Filter Underdrain Replacement project, involving removal and replacement of filter underdrains and media, and refinishing walls at the Filter Room in Bloomfield, CT. Bids are due by June 17, 2024.

Description

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Project will be received and safeguarded by The Metropolitan District, at the office of the District Clerk of the Metropolitan District, located at 555 Main Street, Hartford, CT, 06103, until June 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM local time. The project requires the contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the removal of media, demolition, subsequent replacement of the underdrains and media, and performance demonstration of five Filters (No. 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6), complete and ready for operation along with support equipment and accessories as shown and specified. The project also requires the contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for refinishing the walls in the Filter Room. The Work shall be located in the Town of Bloomfield; in the State of Connecticut as shown on the Drawings and specified therein.
