Description
This project aims to develop an innovative tissue-targeted vaccine designed to bolster the number of functional trigeminal ganglia (TG)-resident CD8+ TRM cells to reduce virus reactivation from latently infected TG, thereby reducing virus shedding in tears and preventing recurrent ocular herpetic disease caused by HSV-1.
