Research grant investigating neuro-immune mechanisms in migraine chronification to identify therapeutic targets for reversing chronic migraine.

Description

This project aims to elucidate the role of neuro-immune interactions, particularly involving T cells and neuropeptides like CGRP and PACAP, in the development and resolution of migraine. The study will investigate how T cell subsets contribute to migraine chronification, the effects of ld-IL2 treatment on Treg cells, and the signaling pathways involved, with the goal of facilitating mechanism-based drug discovery.
