Description

This project will enable functional characterization of cancer-causing genetic variants that are common in populations of non-European ancestry but poorly represented in existing chromatin QTL datasets. It aims to benefit populations that have been understudied in cancer genetics research by identifying chromatin QTLs (cQTLs) associated with cancer risk, improving polygenic risk scores, and discovering cancer-associated cQTLs from circulating chromatin in plasma samples.
