Description

The project aims to address racial disparities in shared decision making (SDM) for patients with acute respiratory failure (ARF) in ICU settings. It involves analyzing ICU physician-family meeting transcripts, conducting focus groups and interviews with families and physicians, and adapting an existing SDM intervention called “Jumpstart” to mitigate disparities.
