Description
This project aims to improve epilepsy diagnosis and surgical planning by advancing magnetic resonance elastography (MRE) and arterial spin labeling (ASL) as novel complementary imaging markers of the epileptogenic zone (EZ) in drug-resistant epilepsy (DRE) patients. The study will evaluate diagnostic accuracy, investigate brain biomechanics-perfusion coupling, and correlate imaging findings with glial activation and post-surgical histopathology using 3T and 7T MRI scanners.
