Description
The project aims to develop activators of the STING-dependent innate immune signaling pathway to make inert tumor cells highly immunogenic, promising for cancer therapy. It involves stimulating the body's immune system to fight cancer by generating anti-cancer T cells through phagocytosed cancer cells that stimulate innate immune pathways, primarily via STING. The strategy involves reinfusing autologous tumor cells loaded with STING-dependent adjuvants into patients to activate immune responses, targeting relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and adult T-cell leukemia (ATLL).
