Description

This NIH-funded project aims to build an Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Technology Collaboratory (AITC) ecosystem to promote the development and implementation of novel AI and technology approaches to improve care and health outcomes for older Americans. The project is led by a multi-PI interdisciplinary team from Johns Hopkins University, with partnerships including the Iowa office of Rural Health and Veterans Rural Health Resource Centers. Objectives include identifying and developing new AI technologies relevant to older adults, promoting health and independence, supporting stakeholder engagement, building a community of AI scholars focused on aging, and developing infrastructure for technology vetting and pilot testing.
