PR 25-047 Automated Painting Robots for Parks and Fields

The City of Avondale, Arizona, through its Parks, Recreation and Libraries Department and Procurement Office, awarded a contract to TinyMobileRobots US LLC, a Georgia Limited Liability Company, for the provision of automated painting robots designed for athletic fields including soccer, football, and baseball. The contract includes delivery, installation, training, and ongoing support for the robots. TinyMobileRobots US LLC will supply two TinyMobileRobots Pro X robots, each weighing no more than 120 lbs, capable of painting at speeds of at least 1.5 mph, with lithium-ion batteries providing up to 5 hours of continuous operation and a life expectancy of at least 800 cycles. The robots feature GPS for accurate field mapping, wireless control systems, adjustable stripe width and line thickness, and dual-diaphragm pumps with adjustable spray pressure of at least 300 psi. The contract also includes one Samsung Galaxy Active 5 tablet per robot, paint containers, and a 24-month warranty on all parts. Training sessions for city staff and ongoing customer support during standard business hours are included. The robots will be delivered to the City of Avondale Public Works Department and installed at three specified park locations: Festival Fields, Alamar Park, and Friendship Park. The contract term is one year with four one-year renewal options, subject to city approval and funding availability. The total contract value is approximately $68,410 after discounts. Notable contract requirements include compliance with OSHA and other safety standards, maintenance of insurance coverage, indemnification provisions, confidentiality of records, and adherence to Arizona state laws including E-verify and anti-boycott certifications.
