12/24/2025 - Change order SCOPE OF SERVICES Replace 2 paddles and 2 knuckles for Stage 2 Vane Assembly SCOPE OF SERVICES CENTRAVAC COMPRESSOR OVERHAUL SERVICE - Remove and store refrigerant per EPA/AQMD regulations. Test refrigerant for acid and oil content. - Evacuate and re-pressurize unit. - Completely disassemble the compressor and motor assembly. (per circuit) Inspect the following for wear and tolerances: o Impellers o Impeller seals o Visual inspection of motor windings, and balance o Bearing caps and seals - Furnish and install new motor bearings - Dip and Bake Motor to include: o Remove stator frame insulation (if needed). o Steam clean and bake stator and rotor. o Test electrical windings. Report findings. o Clean the stator frame, tap out threaded holes, clean outside of case. - Inspect the lubrication system. Dispose of used oil per EPA regulations. - Clean the oil sump. Replace the oil pump and pump motor assembly. Remove and replace regulator. Add new Trane factory oil and replace oil filter. - Completely overhaul 1st and 3rd stage vane assemblies using new pins, washers, bushings and cam wheels. - Rebuild first stage vane arm. - Supply a detailed report, prior to reassembly, of any discrepancies found during the inspection, along with pricing for parts and/or repairs - Reassemble motor using all new bearing cap gaskets, bracket gaskets, oil line gaskets, terminal board gaskets, and stud O-rings. - Reassemble compressor, using all new gaskets and O-rings, including liquid line and sight glass gaskets. Remove and replace oil heater element. - Replace economizer gaskets. - Pressure test and leak check. - Charge with refrigerant and adjust charge as necessary (any additional refrigerant required must be provided by the Owner. Owner's approval will be required if refrigerant cleaning or additional refrigerant is needed.) - Inspect motor starter panel, including the integrity of all leads and connections, and condition and continuity of all terminals and contacts. - Remove and replace the starter auxiliaries. - Remove and replace oil eductor filter. - Start-up and operation check by certified Trane technician - Verification of operating parameters and adjustment of the chiller as per its original specifications - Repair of chiller insulation damaged during course of scope of work. - Prevailing wage included * Evaluations will be by Trane representative. Any required additional repairs will quoted separately, and done only when approved. EDDY CURRENT ANALYSIS - Remove the non-piped condenser and evaporator heads. - Brush and inspect the condenser and evaporator tubes - Perform eddy current analysis on the condenser and evaporator tubes - Reinstall the condenser and evaporator heads with new gasket material. - Refill the units with water.. - Start up and verify operation. - Repair chiller insulation damaged during course of scope of work - Notify customer of eddy current results. CLARIFICATIONS - The existing chiller refrigerant will be re-used provided it meets standards. Refrigerant cleaning, reclaiming, and additional refrigerant are not included and will be billable in addition to this proposal. - Liquid and economizer line repairs, upon inspection, will be quoted in addition to this proposal. - ASHRAE Std. 15 requirements for refrigerant monitor and self-contained breathing apparatus are not included. . - Disposal of waste oil shall be handled by Trane in accordance with EPA regulation and Trane oil disposal policy. - The existing insulation will be re-used when possible. New insulation, if necessary, will be quoted in addition to this proposal.
