Medeco High Security Locks and Services

The State of Iowa, through its Department of Administrative Services Central Procurement office located at the Hoover Building, 1305 E. Walnut St., Des Moines, IA, has awarded a master agreement contract to Walsh Door & Security (also known as Walsh Electronic Security) headquartered at 2600 Delaware Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317. The contract covers the provision of Medeco High Security Locks and associated services including labor for lock and key services. The contract specifies a standard labor rate of $110 per hour for Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm, and an emergency labor rate of $165 per hour for hours outside the standard schedule, which must be authorized by the requesting agency. Additionally, there is a 30% discount off the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for locks and keys. The contract includes renewal options extending up to five additional years beyond the initial term.
