Description

This project aims to develop advanced topological data analysis methods for breast tissue quantification to better understand breast cancer and its response to treatment. The project will develop TopoQuant, a suite of techniques for extracting and interpreting fine-grained topological information from breast parenchyma using 2D and 3D breast imaging. The research will aid in identifying high-risk cases prone to cancer manifestation and recurrence, and provide clinically intuitive visualization of relevant topological features.
